March 2018 The RWJBarnabas Health Center for Asian Health was a sponsor for the first Lunar Festival in New Jersey, with more than 1,600 people in attendance. In honor of Colon Cancer Awareness Month, the team promoted colon cancer screenings for those over 50 as well as had attendees sign up for free FIT kits to do at home. The mayor of Maplewood, Victor DeLuca, stopped by the table to sign up for his own screening.
